Fake
Empire

Fake Empire is a pop rock band formed by sisters Lorraine, Margaux and Mégane Melery, joined by their close friend Clémence D’Hulst. Their musical universe blends pop, electronic elements and alternative rock, balancing softness and intensity while exploring the melancholy of the modern world.
After studying at the Jazz Pop Studio in Antwerp, the band gained attention by winning L’Envol des Cités, which led them to perform on major stages such as Ronquières.
Their track Boyfriends Are Always Missing earned them a spot in the Tipik Belgian Revelations 2026, as well as in the Top 100 PlayRight in French-speaking Belgium. Their second single, Countdown, was also featured on Radio Willy, in the show Slacker Station.
The band’s debut EP, Songs My Sisters Taught Me, was released in November 2025. It was made possible thanks to the co-funding of Volta and Ancienne Belgique as part of the BxBoost program.
